Features / Read receipts
Know when they read it.
See when your email was opened and which links were clicked, with honest numbers you can act on.
Why it matters
You sent the quotation on Monday. Did they open it? Did they click the payment link? Instead of guessing, Qasid tells you, so you call at the right moment.
Most tracking tools count every scanner and spam filter as a “read”. Qasid separates real people from automatic scanners and from your own opens, so a “read” means a person read it.
How it works
- Turn tracking on for an email. Choose opens, link clicks or both in Compose, or make it your default.
- Send as usual. The email looks exactly the same to the recipient.
- Get told when it’s read. A notification on your phone or computer, and the full history on the email: when, how often, which links.
What you get
- Opens and clicks. Every open and every link click, with the time, on the email itself.
- Bots filtered out. Link scanners (Outlook Safe Links, Proofpoint, Mimecast and others) and instant machine opens are kept apart from real reads.
- Your own opens don’t count. Reading your own sent mail never shows up as the recipient opening it.
- Notifications. Be told the moment an important email is opened, on your phone, in the browser or on WhatsApp.
- Per email, your choice. Track the quotation, not the email to your colleague. Nothing is tracked unless you choose it.
A real day
Sana sends a quotation at 10 am. At 4 pm her phone says it was opened twice and the price list was clicked. She calls while they’re still thinking about it, and closes the deal.
Questions
Is open tracking always exact?
No email tool can be perfect: some mail apps block images, and Apple Mail can load them in advance. That’s why Qasid marks machine opens separately and shows link clicks, which are much more reliable.
Does the recipient see anything?
No. The email looks the same. Tracked links pass through a short redirect and land on the same page.
