Features / Shared inbox
One inbox, the whole team.
Share sales@ or support@ with your team. Assign each email to a person, talk about it in private notes, and never reply twice.
Why it matters
When three people read support@, one of two things happens: everyone thinks someone else replied, or two people reply to the same customer with different answers.
Qasid turns a shared address into a team inbox. Everyone sees who owns each email, what the team said about it, and who is writing a reply right now, without forwarding or CC chains.
How it works
- Share a mailbox. The mailbox owner shares sales@ or support@ with teammates. No password is shared.
- Assign. Give each email to a person. They get a notification, and it shows in their “Assigned to me”.
- Work together. Leave notes only the team sees, mark emails done, and see live when someone is viewing or replying.
What you get
- Assign and mark done. Every email has an owner and a status, so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Private notes. “Customer called, sending a new quote tomorrow.” Notes stay inside the team and are never emailed.
- Collision alerts. See “Ali is replying” before you start writing the same answer.
- No shared passwords. Teammates use their own sign-in; access can be removed with one click.
- Reply-time analytics. How fast the team answers, per person and per mailbox.
- Notifications. On phone, browser or WhatsApp when an email is assigned to you.
Support without the chaos
An order complaint arrives at support@. Hina assigns it to Ali and adds a note with the order number. Ali replies; Sara sees “Ali is replying” and moves on. The manager sees the median reply time drop from a day to two hours.
Questions
Does everyone need their own mailbox?
No. One shared address like support@ is enough; each person signs in to Qasid with their own account.
Can I remove someone’s access?
Yes, instantly. They never knew the mailbox password, so there’s nothing to change.
